11 weeks

How far along are? 11 weeks 1 day
Total weight gain/loss: I went to the dr last Friday and I lost 2 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Some. My regular pants are too tight but my maternity pants are too big.
Stretch marks: ugh not yet. but don't worry, they will make their hideous appearance in due time.
Sleep: Eh, not the best. Between waking up to pee 3 times a night and the nightmares Im having, sleep pretty much sucks.
Best moment this week: Starting my new medicine and feeling better with it!!!
Miss anything? A good nights sleep and a glass of wine.
Movement: I think I feel something but not sure. I guess when you have 3 pregnancies, you feel things earlier?
Food cravings: Nothing really this week. I'm able to eat more so that's good.
Anything make you queasy or sick? Not eating in time and changing Luke's poopy diapers.
Have you started to show yet? Yes!! The bump is there.
Gender prediction: girl! i can only think of girl names and look at girl clothes and nursery ideas
Labor signs: no
Belly button in or out? in and will probably remain in if this is anything like my other pregnancies
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or moody most of the time? Both
Looking forward to: Second trimester and finding out what the baby is. I'm still thinking pink! =)

Long week...

As I said in my last post, I would blog about our dr apt and update. Well, Monday's apt didn't go so well. The dr wasn't able to find the baby. Very scary!! He was a to see the yolk sak but nothing else. I knew something wasn't right after he said to get dressed and come into his office. Thankfully Chris was with me because I immediately started freaking out. The dr said he wanted me to do blood work to check my hgc levels. I asked him if he thought that I was loosing the baby and he said that he wouldn't even come to that conclusion yet. He thought that maybe I wasn't as far along as I should be. Which he is correct. We know that date of conception, but they still count it from the first day of your last cycle. So frustrating!! So I had to do blood work on Monday and wednesday. I'm pretty sure my fear of needles is gone. I was stuck so many times with Luke and now twice already with this baby. I went Monday after my apt. The lady probably thought I was crazy because I just say there sobbing while she drew my blood. I went home and just felt like a zombie. Chris came home to be with me and help with the kids. I took a long nap because I was worn out. I went back Wednesday to do the blood work again. This time no tears. I asked the lady when my dr would get the results and she said not till Friday. I got upset because the dr told me I could call Thursday morning for the results. I went ahead and called Katie, dr powers nurse, and left her a message. She called me back a little later and gave me my results from Monday's draw. 14,800!!!! I knew that was good as soon as she told me!!! Praise God!!!! She said they fear a miscarriage when you're in the 100s or less. She was very happy with the results and said to call her back Thursday morning with Wednesday's results. 23,000!!!! Woohoo!!!!! Our God is awesome!!! Such a huge relief to hear!! Our sweet baby is okay. I go back Monday for another ultrasound. I'm praying that we will be able to see more this time.
So what a long week!! The whole time I just kept praying and praying that God would keep the baby safe. I felt very comforted by Him all week. There is no way I would have been able to keep it together without my God. He's just the greatest!!!

Going to the Dr today!

Today we get to see the baby! I'm so excited! I've been so anxious and excited the last couple of days. I just want to see him or her. I'm not a fan of the process, but once I see the baby, it's like nothing is going on! Chris gets to go with me this time. He didn't go with me for Anekah because we didn't think that they were going to do anything. He went with me for Luke, but had to leave because it took forever to call me back. :( So I'm excited for Chris too! I'll post later today the pictures and updates of my ever growing gut.

Well checks

Today we took the kids for their well checks. (seriously, sometimes it is so weird that I have 2 kids) It went..well. Thank the Lord Chris went with me. Anekah was a mess. Mainly because she was afraid she would get a shot. Luke was just his crazy self. Plus kinda fussy because of his little cold. =( The doc said they are both doing great! That’s always so comforting to hear. Here are there stats..

Anekah: 38lbs and 42in tall

Luke: 19lbs 12ozs and 31in tall

Both are in the 90% for height. Yeah, they are giants. They will probably both be taller than me in a couple years.

Luke had to get 1 shot and Anekah 0. She was very happy about that but left the room screaming anyway. She wanted to stand next to Luke when he got his shot but I told her she had to stay back a bit and that must have translated into i’m going to take all your toys and burn them. Geez, the girl went balistic!! Chris took her outside and the nurse did the shot. Luke did great. He started to cry but as soon as he started he stopped. They also had to take blood from his little finger. He did great! I remember being little and having my finger pricked. Lets just say the memories are pretty rough. And people wonder why I hate needles so much?!

All in all it was a good apt. Gosh I love these kids! (yup still weird saying kid(s)!)

Pumpkin Patch 2011

This past weekend the fam and I went to the patch of pumpkins. We had a great time! Anekah loved walking around trying to find the right pumpkin for all of 5 minutes. The patch we went to had a train ride. As soon as she figured out she could ride it, “the search for the bestest pumpkin was o.v.e.r”. We quickly found our pumpkin the headed for the train. Anekah loved it! She rode by herself while Chris held Luke in his lap.  I opted out so I could take pictures. And here are said pictures. Enjoy!

Tomorrow is 6 years

6 years..really?! There are some days when it feels like we just got married. And then there are the occasional days when it feels like we’ve been married FOOOR.EV.VERRR! So we are going out to eat tomorrow night at Blackfinn. I’m really excited! I love to try new restraunts {when we can afford it}. The menu online looks delish. I’m excited to try…

Herb Rubbed Campfire Steak

16 oz. ribeye, dry herb rubbed, garlic mashed potatoes, maple glazed carrots

I’m hoping I will be able to get my choice of different sides because they are some really yummy ones that sound good.

The dessert menu looks to.die.for. I’m hoping to try the

BlackFinn Hot Chocolate

fallen chocolate and peanut butter soufflé served warm, vanilla ice cream, homemade whipped cream

Or maybe go to Cheesecake Factory for dessert. =) We shall see! I’ll post all about it tomorrow and the suprise for Chris. =)=)
