Two years ago today my life changed again!! Today marks the day that my Anekah Dean was born. It was a very long labor but worth every minute of it. Anekah FINALLY came into this world at 9:05am on November 26, 2007. She weighed in a 8lb 60z and was 20 inches long. She was an ooey and gooey baby that’s for sure. Her nose was smushed because she was stuck in my birth canal for a looooong time. I like to refer to her as having a collapsed nostril. :) Here are some pictures of my labor, first moments together, and the last two years. I hope you enjoy them!
So, today is Thanksgiving as well as her birthday. I am thankful for my wonderful Savior for blessing us with the opportunity to have children. I am thankful for my sweet husband for helping me make her. :0) Anekah, I love you so much and you are a wonderful daughter!!! Thank you for helping Mommy laugh when I am sad. Smile when I am sick. Dance when I am tired. Thank you for being YOU!!!
What a beautiful blog...and a blessing for young couples to realize the beauty of the miracle of life and the role we play that God blesses us with.
